These 10 consecutive holidays are so-called “Golden Week” in Japan.
There will be Day of Abdication, April 30, 2019, Coronation Day (of the new Emperor), May 1, 2019, along with National Holidays, April 29th Showa Day, May 3rd Constitution Day, and May 5th Children’s Day.
