Yamato Co., Ltd. will release three new series of clear color paints, “Glass Deco Suncatcher Plates Sets” “Dinosaur 2”, “Decorative Balls” and “Constellation” in July, 2025. They will be available at major stationery stores, mass retailers, and online stores nationwide.

Yamato Co., Ltd.’s popular hobby craft product, Glass Deco, is a clear colored paint that combines glue and paint to create colorful works that let light through like stained glass when dry. In addition, the Glass Deco Suncatcher Sets, which have been developed as new series of Glass Deco products since 2019 and have become staple items, are popular as kits that children can enjoy more easily, as it only requires them to paint their favorite colors of Glass Deco on the included transparent plate and let it dry.

Sales of the Glass Deco Suncatcher Kits series remained strong, up 116% year-on-year (Yamato shipping amount basis), and the kits are currently available in nine varieties. In response to demand for more items, we have expanded our lineup of separately sold accessory plates. In addition to the new “Dinosaur” designs that are popular with boys, we have also added the basic “Decorative Ball” motif and a new 12-piece constellation set to the lineup.

These kits make it easy to create original works, making them ideal for summer crafts and projects at home. You can use any leftover Glass Deco from the kit, but Glass Deco is also available in kits and single colors, and additional purchases are possible.
