Yamato Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at the 50th 2026 Japan Hobby Show, to be held from Friday, May 8 to Sunday, May 10 at Tokyo Big Sight.
The Japan Hobby Show is Japan’s largest handmade hobby fair, celebrating its milestone 50th anniversary this year.
Yamato Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting its “Art Series” of hobby and craft products as part of its efforts to further expand into the hobby and craft sector.
Yamato will feature a wide range of products, including the classic transparent-color paint “Glass Deco,” the popular “Glass Deco Ornament Set,” last year’s collaborative product “Glass Deco Creative Art Sticker Kit: Chinami Unno,” and the water-based crayons “Colorix Silky Twister.”
At the booth, visitors can participate in a “paper quilling” workshop—where participants create parts by rolling narrow strips of paper—as in previous years.
Additionally, on the 9th and 10th, Yamato will host a “Glass Deco Ornament” workshop (limited to customers who purchase 1,200 yen or more), designed primarily for families, allowing visitors to enjoy hands-on crafting activities.
In addition, the general workshop area within the venue will host a special workshop titled “Create Stained-Glass-Style Art Stickers with Chinami Unno,” led by Glass Deco artist Chinami Unno. This is a rare opportunity to create your own unique stained-glass-style stickers using collaborative products while learning professional techniques.
