Yamato Co., Ltd. will begin sales of its specialized stain-preventing sheet, the “Easy-Clean-Up Expandable Cover Sheet”, starting February 2026. It will be available at major stationery stores, mass retailers, household goods stores, and online retailers nationwide.
The “Easy-Clean-Up Expandable Cover Sheet” is a dedicated stain-proofing sheet combining masking tape and a folded protective sheet. Secure the sheet with masking tape to tables, floors, walls, or other surfaces you wish to protect beforehand, then unfold the sheet to shield them from stains.
Its main uses include preventing messes during children’s drawing, crafts, or DIY projects; protecting against spills during meals or haircuts at home; and preventing stains from diaper changes in cars or pet hair while traveling. It also excels in various leisure scenarios like camping.
Until now, the hassle of laying down newspaper or preparing plastic sheets is eliminated with just this one item. What’s more, it offers optimal adhesive strength and size for everyday use.
The sheet’s surface treatment prevents fluttering and ensures it sticks firmly to floors, making work easier. After use, you can simply roll it up and throw it away—a convenient feature.
Originally called a “roll masker,” this product is primarily used in construction painting to protect walls and floors.
However, standard sizes are often large, and some have strong adhesive strength, making them difficult to use at home.
