Yamato Corporation Community Guidelines

Yamato Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Yamato”) have established the following guidelines in order to achieve better communication with Yamato customers and fans through official social media (Facebook, Instagram, X, You tube) (collectively hereinafter “users”) . Users are deemed to have agreed to these guidelines by interacting with the official social media (including fan registration and other actions). Yamato may change these guidelines from time to time, and such changes will take effect from the time they are posted on Yamato website (https://www.yamato.co.jp). Users shall abide by these guidelines to the fullest extent.

Yamato welcomes users’ comments, photos, videos, links, and other content (collectively hereinafter “User Content”) on the official social media sites that we manage and operate. We reserve the right to delete any inappropriate user content posted by users, even if it is related to our official social media. Yamato reserves the right to terminate or delete any of Yamato official social media sites at any time without notice.

Please understand that comments posted do not represent our official views. Yamato’s official announcements and views are made on Yamato website and in news releases. Information posted by Yamato and its employees on social media does not necessarily represent Yamato’s official announcements or views. User content posted by users does not necessarily reflect the opinions or ideals of Yamato, its employees, or related parties.

Yamato does not guarantee the accuracy of any statements or assertions made in any social media platform, nor do Yamato assume any responsibility for any user content. Yamato does not respond to every post or comment.

All users are required to abide by the terms of use of each social media platform.

Yamato expects users not to post any user content that falls into any of the following categories and will remove such user content as necessary

  1. Acts that infringe the copyrights, portrait rights, or other intellectual property rights of Yamato, other users, or any third party.
  2. Act that infringes on the property, credit, privacy, etc. of Yamato, other users, or third parties.
  3. Acts that defame or slander Yamato, other users, or third parties, regardless of whether such defamation or slander is genuine or not.
  4. Acts of sending, transmitting, disclosing, copying, or writing personal information (e-mail address, address, telephone number, or other private information) to other users or third parties without the prior consent of Yamato and the individual concerned.
  5. Acts of sending, communicating, disclosing, copying, or writing works of other users or third parties without the prior consent of Yamato and the individual concerned,
  6. Interfering with or destroying Yamato’s operation by means of viruses, hacking, etc.
  7. Any threat, obscenity, defamation, discrimination, political activity, religious activity, or any action that may lead to such activities.
  8. Acts that intrude into computers by borrowing names or addresses.
  9. Any commercial activities such as sales activities, recruiting activities, or inducing or linking to affiliate sites or sites for business purposes without prior permission from Yamato.
  10. Acts that interfere with the operation of this official social media site or Yamato, damage Yamato’s credibility, or cause disadvantage to other users or Yamato.
  11. Acts that are offensive to public order and morals, criminal acts, or acts closely related thereto.
  12. Violation of laws or ordinances, or acts closely related thereto,
  13. Other acts that are contrary to the purpose of each social media.
  14. Any act that provides or attempts to provide obscene video, audio, text, or other information,
  15. Acts such as displaying advertising banners, including advertising banner exchanges or link exchanges of any kind.
  16. Postings or recommendations that may violate the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
